Introducing North Hop

North Hop
Last week was a rather exciting one here at Snow HQ as we did a special pre-launch of a brand new food and drink project for the Highlands of Scotland, North Hop. North Hop is a project we have been working away on (in the background) for the last six months, along with the help of some close contacts and has been set up to fully introduce craft beer and the whole buzz and excitement surrounding it to the lovely people of Inverness, the Highlands of Scotland and beyond. We hope it will help to raise the awareness of craft beer and the breweries behind them, showcase the huge range of amazing food and drink products we have here in Scotland and bring a fresh buzz into Inverness! This will be done via special taster events, festivals and much more.

Getting the branding for North Hop exactly right was one of our main challenges and I’m pleased to say we are delighted with the end result (and hope you agree), created by Fergus at Wee Epics! It depicts the fresh, modern, yet rustic feel we were going for and certainly stands out. We are now looking forward to working with Fergus on the next stages of development where he will be getting creative with the website, marketing materials, video, photography, promotional items and more.

The pre-launch was done on Wednesday 26th February in advance of the #scotlandhour on festivals happening that evening on Twitter. The pre-launch was all about getting the branding, concept and initial details out there via the social media channels and it went down a storm! In less than 24 hours we had 150 followers on Twitter, 70 page likes on Facebook, numerous direct enquiries and lots of positive comments and mentions. This really does show the power of social media!

Further details of what exactly is brewing up and is in the pipelines for North Hop will be announced soon but in the meantime you can join in with the chat over on Facebook and Twitter, check out our pics on Instagram and sign up to our mailing list.
